Biography

I am an Associate Professor of Religious Education at the University of Chester. I am the Chair of Examiners for Religious Studies with one of the major awarding organisations. Prior to my role at Chester, I was a secondary school RE teacher for 13 years including roles as an Advanced Skills Teacher, Director of Faculty and QCA Subject Adviser. Institutional profile

I am an expert in the areas of Religious Education, inter-faith relationships, Christian Education, and Mormon theology. I hold Masters degrees from Liverpool (Military Studies) and Birmingham (RE). I gained my Doctorate in theology in 2011 from the University of Liverpool. My thesis constructed a theology of religions.
