AbstractMy aim in this thesis is to analyse the recent development of evangelical writers who defend Christian universalism. I will look at why this theological position is so attractive to them. I will examine and evaluate in some detail the writings of Gregory MacDonald and Tom Greggs on this issue. I will consider just how compatible Christian universalism is with traditional evangelicalism.
