| dc.description.abstract | The purpose of this evaluation was to explore the experience of the residents of Knowsley of the community NHS health checks. A qualitative research strategy was utilised. It was evident from the evaluation that NHS Knowsley had been successful in engaging people in the community NHS health check programme. The service users commented positively on the health checks. A minority of participants were unsure what steps to take after the community health check, however, the majority of participants made some form of lifestyle change as a result of attending the check. | |
