CENS is an international postgraduate centre for specialist teaching and research in exercise and nutrition science, cardiovascular rebabilitation and weight management, and is located in the School of Applied & Health Sciences.

CENS attracts students from worldwide to study on its UK and international programmes. It has an alumni of over 250 and currently has 300+ students from 24 nationalities registered on its courses - making it `one of the largest centres of its type in Europe¿ (External Examiners Report 2005).
