The Learning and Teaching Institute (LTI) was established in August 2005 to provide leadership for institutional development of learning and teaching, enhancement of academic practice, and comprehensive learning support services for students and staff. The LTI’s direction is informed by the University’s Learning and Teaching Strategy - ‘Enhancing Student Learning’ – and by its involvement with activities undertaken both within the University and in other organisations, such as the Higher Education Academy.
