The Department of Clinincal Sciences and Nutrition was created in August 2010 as a result of the merger of the Centre for Exercise & Nutrition Sciences and the nutrition and dietetics programmes in the Department of Biological Sciences.
The Department of Clinical Sciences focuses on inspiring and engaging tomorrow’s professionals and we therefore offer several programmes in clinical and public health contexts at both postgraduate and undergraduate levels taught both in the UK and overseas to address current and future workforce needs. Nutrition and exercise for health and in disease are a main focus of the provision.
